This unique
bus is powered by a Detroit 8.2 diesel engine, and manual
transmission, and equipped with hydraulic brakes. According to some
specifications on the GM S7 chassis that I have, manual
transmissions, and hydraulic brakes were not available. However, I
do believe at least the hydraulic brakes had to have come from the
factory, and am unsure about the manual transmission. Most
likely, the manual transmission also came from the factory. So, in
other words, this chassis was a custom order. |
