This thread is for pictures of buses that you , for various reasons, can't or don't want to list normally in the photo galleries, and do not fit in other threads.

Here are some yard pics that I took around a month ago...

I ride #33 and #35 in the picture above. 33 is the right-most AARE, and #35 is 2 to the right of 33.

An impressive view of our '87 AARE

A closer view of #34, my AM bus last year

Please do not copy or redistribute my pictures.

My new thing now is that when I go visit another lot, I try to get some yard pictures to paint the picture with some of the pictures of the buses I took.

This is one of my all-time favorite photos...Not only is it a favorite of mine, it's a rare Carpenter RE!

I guess the Californian sun was too hot for this bus today! Smiley

Here's one that shows the rare Carpenter RE with a nice All American RE:

I also think the colors came out in this one nicely. Don't you think so?

Tried something different again.  My dad used to always do this with the spoke rims, and I've always liked the looks so I gave it a shot.  So far I've done 8 of the 21 buses.  I think they turned out alright.

That was what we did at STA to the spoke rims as well..(cheap man's way of a getting some bling) and they always looked really good. Now the bud wheels got an all silver finish...but I like the looks of that. Possibly think about making the center hub silver too?

The lug nuts would be nice...probably a little too much money though

Could paint the center...school starts tomorrow and I thought of the idea friday so i didn't have a whole lot of time.

They've recently starting painting the rims like that where I work too.  They used to paint the whole thing silver, now they're just doing the outsides like you show.  Starting to grow on me...

That's a cute little thing! Late '70s would be my guess. The side exit door seems a little redundant on a bus that size, especially so close to the rear exit, but what do I know...  Wink

Thats a really cool Wayne!!

It is interesting that it doesn't have high headroom...which has been very common/mandated for a LONG time in Ca.

Stopsigns weren't a mandated spec until 1989, so it is not surprising they didn't retrofit one.

Recently I have been uploading pictures to the SBC gallary...I think I have 10 or so buses uploaded.

Last week I went to my brothers away basketball game at a school in the high foothills. They had the tiniest busyard/most cramped I have ever seen! This was the layout...

And here are a couple pictures I snapped of the fleet. I am not going to upload them to the gallary because they were taken through a fence.

I came across a couple of "group" shots earlier when I was sorting through old digital pictures.

Here's a picture of my former 1969 Crown Supercoach with a brand-new Blue Bird All American FE from Indianapolis Public Schools.  This picture would've been taken back in 2003, when I was working for the Blue Bird Dealer.  (Which bus looks better? Cheesy)

And here's a group of some new buses awaiting delivery, again from 2003.  They have "IC" roof logos but black diamonds on the cowls.  Must've been during the transition from "International ICs" to "IC CEs."

Lots of great pictures guys and gals... i will try to get some pictures of Campbell county school district and the new fleet that Weston county#1 (newcastle, WY) they got about 15 Brand spanking new busses because their old busbarn burned down, and they had to barrow busses from different counties all over the state.

I would put some pix of weston county #7 but our busses don't park until next summer and we don't have any spares, the only spares we have are chevy suburbans and the old ford excursian (roughest riding sob on earth but it drives nice.)

The top bus has an S-Series badge with a 3800 hood. I an guessing off of this picture, it was several buses piece mealed together.

Oh by the way, the criminals get to ride in a bus with AC while school kids in my area don't! Sad
