Are those buses used daily? It looks like the snow has sorta been pushed around them.

They are Manchester's spares.  A couple of the other Crowns (19 & 20) are still used in daily service I believe.

Well those two Crowns are spares at least. The Carpenter and the Blue Bird are no longer used.

I like the fact that they kept the Carpenter for a maintenance bus.  I see it rolling around every once in a while.

This one looks like it got stranded in the crazy D.C. storm that hit that area.

I have been watching the news for a week now and they said the same event that happened in D.C. is supposed to hit us tomorrow but the biggest parts will be in Massachusetts and Conneticut. At the moment, I am in the 5-9 inch range.

Jackson's old band bus.  It was just replaced by the new one.  which is a 90's Carpenter International.

It's because the pictures he's trying to link to are on his e-mail account (or so it appears). If he can upload them to a photo sharing site, we'll be able to see them.

This is interesting... a ramp for the emergency exit? Nice paint job, but I'd prefer black wheels.

^I hate to see buses in wrecks or that have caught on fire, but it's even worse to see a bus full of immobile kids get involved in an accident. The ramp is an easy way out.

What's more interesting is are the new switches on the old panel, I hated the old Thomas switches, just because they were so ugly, the new switches make a world of difference. The ramp is probably retrofit, but a good idea for a wheelchair bus.

A few shots from today. These are buses that I've shot before and are already in the SBC database, but I thought I'd get some different angles than the generic "roster shots" that I already uploaded.

LOVE the angle of that first shot, Adrian! Cool Hate how that cross arm looks, though....

Those IC FEs look like they could have come from CT. Those cross arms are exactly like the retrofits we have on our AmTran FEs, TC2000s, and '04 CE, so maybe those FEs were bought without cross arms and retrofitted when CT required them to be. But, I'm not sure if that's what the stalk stock (did it again!) cross arm was like for that bus. But it also has the "Cap. 77" (71?) beside the door, just like ours do. The only thing I'm skeptical about is the warning light visors; we normally have individual visors, but all the '05 + ICs have double ones.

The rear bumper on those visions is very odd! And those IC FE's look fairly new, even for being a couple years old.

Those IC FEs look like they could have come from CT.

They are indeed from CT. They are the ones that came in from Voluntown several months ago. They've been on the lot for a while. There were three, but today I only saw two. Don't know if that means they finally sold one, or if it's just in the garage. They are 2005s.

Those double nickel mirrors are on every bus in my fleet.  Our drivers really like them.

I caught this new CE on I-71 on a trip to Columbus today.  I seen about 7 New York spec'd buses making their way up north from the IC plant to the dealers.  This may not be the best picture but its ok considering I was going 65 mph down the highway  Grin

That picture is amazing, Jeff! The rear mud flaps are pushed back, but the wheels like they're not turning at all (no blurriness)! The only thing that really gives it away is the blurry pavement. What kind of camera do you have... were you using a motion setting?
