This isn't a really good pic of me... but it is the ONLY one to date with both Me and my Bus in it.  This pic was taken 2 years ago... I'm not that big anymore.  I really hate this pic... anyone who is on my MySpace can see better pics of me there.

Allright you saw me. Now stop laughing! I still hear you. Kevin that wasn't a bad pic.. Well it wasn't as bad as mine. Dunno why I can't get it up there like yours?

Set your link as an image link, instead of a URL. Just change your HTML from "url" and "/url" to "img" and "/img".  Give it a try... I bet it will work.  If not... Ehh... I give up.  "Drop 20 and PUNT!" Undecided

Here's what to do. Sign up for an account with a free picture host such as Photo Bucket. The upload the picture to the host. Once it's uploaded copy the url information. In Photo Bucket this would be the "IMG Code". Simply highlight the gibberish next to where it says IMG Code, copy it and then past it to the forum like so:

Doing that will get you to this:

And no, that's not my bus

Here's a picture from a couple of years ago.  This is my personal bus, and, obviously it doesn't get driven regularly.

It's a Thomas Built body on a 1956 Ford chassis powered by a 292......in case you were wondering.

Michael, do you have any Youtube videos involving that bus and/or more pictures of it on this site? Or plan on having any in the future? It'd truly be a great opportunity to see more of that bus, and hear it starting up! Smiley

Actually..the Elem. USED to be my route..so most of the students on there know me. As for the High School..huh, I'll just say that I have NO problems. Most of the kids know me as the Coordinator..and I have been on all buses at least one time. Yes, they will try to push..but I have been driving and dealing with buses for 7 years..so I have some tricks for that too.  Wink I am by no means a little guy...as you can clearly see, so that certainly works to my advantage.

Angelo.. the lady your standing with in the first pic looks IDENTICAL to the lady here who drives bus 66 (2009 IC RE).. weird.

I always enjoy seeing what people actually look like.. you always put an image in your head but once you see the pic it totally changes.

Yeah..Im the same way, I ALWAYS try and build an image of what someone looks like(Im very visual)..and depending on how I personally feel about them,  even after I see what they actually look like..I might still think they look like what I have "come up" with! HAHA, oh well. But, yes that is weird about the girl in my pic looking identical to one your way! Wink

Tim, you look really comfortable in the drivers seat..and happy too! Congrats on all of the progress you have made..and keep up the good work!

I have to agree with both of you. Coming from a person where this has happened several times. But mine always turn out to be way, way different of what they look like.

Thanks Angelo! I do find the school bus very comfortable! I actually like it a bit more than my personal car, a '98 Nissan Maxima. I am happy! I've always wanted to give school bus driving a try, and I'm very excited to have gotten the chance. I'm really looking forward to passing my road test and driving myself.

Thanks for the support!

I agree with Angelo, Tim.  You look very comfortable and very happy.... very professional too.  Almost like you are in your "element".  Maybe a School Bus driver's seat is your Natural habitat... who knows.  Either way.... be proud of the progress that you are making at a young age.  Love the picture... no better shot then one from the driver's seat of an IHC/AmTran.... PURE LOVE! Grin

Haha thanks for the positive comments guys! I'm going to school to become an electrical engineer, so hopefully my SECOND natural habitat will be the driver seat of a school bus, and my FIRST one will be at a bench designing electrical circuits, etc... Who knows? I could land a job at Thomas, IC or Blue Bird working on the next generation of electrical systems for school buses?

RoadRunner, this is my second time out in one of those 2000 AmTrans, and I really like them. On my second training session we took out a 2002 IC. I really thought I'd like to drive it...and I did, but I missed the AmTran from the first time. Maybe it's because the AmTran was the first one I ever drove I'm a little biased, but I do like them.

Growing up I rode a bunch of Carpenters, Wards and Bluebirds. First Student doesn't have any Carpenters or Wards! (Well, AmTran is Ward, but you know what I mean). There are a few BBs here and there, but haven't had the opportunity to drive one yet. Bu I'm really starting to enjoy the AmTrans. I like the placement of the control panel in relation to the steering wheel. On the IC I drove last time, I thought some of the controls were too far back.

Look great behind that wheel Tim Wink. Have an AWESOME with with that CE. CEs are wonderful. I've always wondered if my bus could burn rubber...it used to be shot full of power...now it's gotten a bit weaker. But I still think my bus could burn rubber.

Hey Ryan....what year is your CE? It looks pretty nice...as I already said..but I was just curious of a year.
